Bearsden Choir launches its virtual 'Countdown to Christmas' with one piece released daily on social media, the website and YouTube - in partnership with Herald Scotland.

The RCS Junior Conservatoire Choral Showcase is a Christmas choral spectacular, featuring students from aged 8 – 18 years old who will perform in the Grand Hall of Glasgow City Halls.  

Andrew will conduct the inaugural performance of the new RCS Choir to mark the opening of the RCS 175 celebration week, performing Vivaldi Gloria and Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols.

The Bearsden Choir will perform this Rossini masterpiece in the wonderful surroundings of Glasgow City Halls and will be joined by: Geoffrey Tanti and Claire Haslin- pianos, Ryan Corbett- accordion, Monica McGhee-soprano, Lauren Young- mezzo-soprano, Thomas Elwin- tenor, Tristan Hambleton- Bass-baritone.

The Bearsden Choir will perform in a live screening of the iconic Home Alone film.

The Bearsden Choir will be joining the BBC SSO to record excerpts of Tippett's A Child of our Time and The Vision of Saint Augustine for a BBC 2 documentary.

Andrew will join the panel as an adjudicator for the 2023 MACC.
